Been having lessons with Erwin for a year and am very satisfied with his way of teaching. I had no musical background whatsoever and started completely blank with learning the bassguitar. Erwins quality is his almost holistic approach. In his teaching he knows perfectly what suits me and he really helps me develop and learn. With a realistic level of ambition he’s able to stimulate me to put a lot of energy in ‘the noble art of bass playing’  beside my busy full time job. For many years Erwin taught me bass guitar. Because of my work and other circumstances, there’s alternating periods in which I can spend more time or less time on having bass guitar lessons. Through the years Erwins lessons for me have been a continuous and stable factor to help me study playing the bass. The lessons are adjusted to what I think is important for me at that moment. When I’m playing in a band there’s room to work on developing my own basslines for our tracks. In other periods were focussing more on technique, theory and musical hearing. What’s very pleasant about his lessons is that Erwin adjusts very easily to what’s important for me, and shapes the lessons so that they fit my goals for this given period. Besides that, he keeps track of progress and continuity. And above all, Erwin is a very pleasurable, enthusiastic and relaxed person.
