"A Bunch of Fun! "

Andrius has helped me finding my way back to my sax. After 10+ years of not playing I recently started to take lessons with him, which was the best decision I could have taken! Since I already had some ideas of what I wanted to play, I really really appreciate the fact that he always listened to me and brought along the music that I wanted to play whilst he would also come with his own ideas. Next to all the fun of playing around Andrius focused largely on helping me improve my technique. After my first set of 10 lessons and seeing some incredible progress already I am excited to continue my journey with Andrius. It's been a bunch of fun and would strongly recommend! Cheers, Leonie

"A very positive experience! "

I've been taking piano lessons with Jabiz for the past year and I've been having so much fun! It's been my childhood dream to learn to play piano. Starting at the age of 32 was a bit scary but learning piano with Jabiz has been so rewarding. Her kind and patient approach and her cheerful personality allows me to obtain and grow my piano skills and it has made me feel more confident when playing. In the lessons, she combines standard adult piano learning books, technical exercises and additional pieces, which are fun to play, sound good and are appropriate for my level. And all of that is happening in my living room, which means I do not have to spend extra time on traveling to and from the lessons. This fits very well into my busy work schedule since it's easy to squeeze a piano lesson into my lunch break. Altogether, this has been a very positive experience for me!

"Ik leer veel! "

Ik ben nogal druk in mijn hoofd, struikel soms over mijn woorden, maak mijn zinnen niet goed af of heb niet genoeg lucht aan het einde van een zin. Ik zing graag, maar mijn stem schiet alle kanten op, kortom, ik zing vals en hou dan ook maar vaak mijn mond dicht. Nu zou ik wel heel graag in een koor zingen, maar ja, hoe dan? Na jarenlang getwijfeld te hebben heb ik uiteindelijk de stoute schoenen aangetrokken en Carolien gevraagd of ze iets voor me zou kunnen betekenen. En dat bleek te kunnen! Door allerlei oefeningen leer ik veel. Mijn houding en mijn ademhaling verbetert en ik durf te zingen. Carolien geeft ook les in bubbelen, wat veel mensen met ademhalingsmoeilijkheden zou kunnen helpen. Carolien is erg vriendelijk, gastvrij en heeft heel veel geduld. En ik zing nu dan toch eindelijk in een koor en wordt daar erg blij van! Alida

Sam is an excellent teacher. He helped me develop my sound and confidence on the instrument, and gave me the tools to achieve my aim of improvising over my favourite songs. He's a fantastic musician, and hearing him play is inspirational! Gregory (65)

Sam luistert heel goed naar mijn behoeften en geeft feedback op een doordachte manier. Ik ben er met hem enorm op vooruit gegaan, en het huiswerk dat hij me geeft is altijd duidelijk, behapbaar en nuttig. Isa (16)

"Easy Going Teacher! "

I'm learning for the first time in my life an instrument with Michalis. He is really patient and easy going, takes the time to explain how to play and how to act during playing, he also has a lot of tips and tricks that you only get when doing real lessons. He is really professional, passionate and knows his stuff. That really helps a lot and it's exactly what I was looking for! Jorge

"Extremely Positive! "

Andrius is a great person and always nice to speak with him about different topics. Really knowledgable on music and gives a great feeling. Amazing energy and happiness. The structure is perfect ( at least for me) as in Andrius can adapt to the student easily in term of pace, taste and fun. He always keep the rythme increasing but with great organisation.It gives a good balance between practice and effort vs reward. Well done on that Being taught by someone with such a strong background in music and teaching the real ground of Solfege is a great feeling to learn. I learn Saxophone and music reading / technics hence the progress is full for me. I can only be extremely positive about my cursus in progress with Andrius and I hope to be able to keep on going for a long time with it. Quentin M.

"Klarinetles op maat! "

Na 50 jaar wilde ik weer klarinet gaan spelen. Op de lagere school en in mijn tienerjaren heb ik dat met veel plezier gedaan. Een nieuwe klarinet gekocht en na wat omzwervingen en googelen vond ik Marco Danesi. Vanwege de coronamaatregelen hebben we elkaar nog nooit in levende lijve ontmoet. Sinds een jaar heb ik digitaal les van hem. Hoewel live les misschien beter is vind ik dat Marco ongelooflijk goed in staat is om ook digitaal les te geven. Alle afspraken gaan altijd door en het maakt niet uit waar we zijn. De lessen gaan in een relaxte sfeer. Elke les is voor mij iets waar ik naar uit zie!  Hij doet er alles aan om mij te stimuleren (ik zou graag samen spelen op termijn) en te enthousiasmeren. Daarbij is hij heel kundig, ook didactisch, waardoor ik me elke keer weer uitgedaagd voel om mijn technieken te ontwikkelen en tegelijkertijd ook om muzikaal beter te gaan spelen. Overigens speelt hij zelf prachtig klarinet. Ik heb hem daarom ook al bij een aantal vrienden aanbevolen.

"Bevlogen en deskundig!! "

In eerste instantie had ik Marco in zijn Duo Ebano horen spelen en ik was verrast over zijn veelzijdigheid. Zowel het romantische als het hedendaagse repertoire speelt hij schitterend.In de basklarinetlessen krijg ik op enthousiaste wijze feedback op houding en techniek. Door zijn directe manier van reageren heeft dat voor mij meteen effect. En passant vertelt hij veel over de speelwijze en de frasering. Kortom: Marco is een bevlogen en deskundige docent en dat maakt dat ik iedere keer weer met plezier naar de lessen uitkijk.

Marco Danesi is not only a talented clarinet player himself, but a good teacher as well. Learning how to play the clarinet means rehearsing every day over a considerable period of time. Marco gives you the feedback needed to keep you motivated and to avoid developing wrong playing habits. Every lesson is one step further in the right direction. It works fine for me, why don't you try it yourself?

"Blij met Sylvia! "

Ik ben heel blij met de lessen van Sylvia. De lessen zijn motiverend, gezellig en het niveau is goed aangepast aan mijn progressie, wat erg fijn is. Ook plaatst Sylvia mijn voortgang regelmatig goed in perspectief als ik weer eens te snel wil gaan of een stukje verwacht te kunnen spelen wat nog buiten mijn kunnen ligt. Sylvia is erg gemakkelijk om mee te werken, vooral door haar enorme muzikale kennis en interpersoonlijk vermogen. Haar passie voor cello en lesgeven schijnt elke minuut van de les door. Ik ben erg blij met Sylvia als mijn eerste cellolerares. Cedrik

As someone who only started learning to play the violin at the age of 24, I really appreciate that Aleksandra pays close attention to the basics. The focus is on the technique and music theory, but she also makes sure every lesson has some fun pieces to play together :) She adapts really well to the student's needs, and puts in that little extra effort you cannot help but appreciate!
