Kristen is an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher! Already having played the silver flute for a long time, I decided to pick up the baroque flute two years ago. Kristen helped me buy a flute and through her lessons I quickly became confident on this new instrument. Her clear love for baroque music and period instruments has opened up a new world for me, exploring the many different styles of baroque (from early French to late German/Austrian). During her lessons we often play together, from which I learn a lot through imitation, but we also talk about the background of different pieces, ornamentations, etc, which helps me understand the music better. "Zanglessen in alle stijlen! "

Op de fiets onderweg naar zangles van Erik Slik was ik altijd vrolijk mijn stembanden al aan het opwarmen. Op de terugweg nog vrolijker en nog steeds aan het zingen, nieuwe technieken aan het oefenen. Erik heeft een talent om je op jouw gemak te laten voelen, goed aan te sluiten op jouw niveau en wat er nodig is om vooruit te komen. Erik stelde mij altijd gerust als ik onzeker was met zijn engelengeduld. Erik straalt als hij les geeft en elke muziekgenre is mogelijk. Tijdens de lessen merkte ik een grote passie voor het muzikale vak bij Erik, een echte professional. Ik kan niks anders dan positief zijn over de zanglessen van Erik. Voor mij een goede match: een betrokken zangdocent met een goede dosis humor.

I have been following lessons with Panagiotis since september 2020 and it's been great. I've played guitar for quite a while now, but have been wanting to get into jazz guitar a lot more. Panagiotis has a lot of knowledge about both music theory as well as putting feeling/emotion into your playing. Also, his way of teaching is very easygoing with plenty of room for conversation and students' own contributions, so it has helped me a lot to become even more comfortable with my instrument as well as to understand the underlying theory and nuances of jazz guitar. Panagiotis heeft een heel goed gevoel voor hoe iemand moet ontwikkelen in zijn of haar spel en weet je altijd uit te dagen om je verder te ontwikkelen. Iedere les ga je weg met met extra informatie over iets nieuws of nieuwe ideeen. Verder wordt alles ook op een manier uitgelegd zodat iets makkelijk is om te snappen en later toe te kunnen voegen aan je eigen spel waardoor alles interessant en leuk is. Wessel

His lessons allow me to learn songs to build up my repertoire as well as providing some more challenging songs to push my technique and skills. Although I did not specifically start lessons with the intention of learning any music theory Panagiotis has a way of making theory accessible to everyone and I now begin to actually enjoy learning it, which helps support what I do on the instrument.
